Hi there! I’m Joy, welcome to my page. I’ve been writing books since I can remember, and it has always been my dream to publish. I take my writing very seriously and have researched my genre in many ways. A couple years ago, my curiosity and need to escape into a medieval life has led me to start taking martial arts classes. The main focus being swordfighting, my action scenes in my medieval fantasy books have greatly improved, shedding a light on many misconceptions about not just the art of fighting but weapons and armor. I also started taking classes for self-publishing, and my journey has been nothing but adventurous since. I’ve been working on The Unsung Chronicles for five years now, and I’m close to publishing the first in the series. Ensnared with poems and plot twists, full of multi-dimensional characters, fun fighting sequences, politics and an arcing storyline, I’ve poured my heart and soul into my story’s pages.
